History

In 1942, in the City of Santos, Mr. Américo Ribeiro dos Santos (in memoriam), started the Logistics and Foreign Trade activities.
 
In 967, in the City of São Sebastião, São Paulo North Shore, CNAGA was constituted for the purpose of increasing the business transactions within the local port, which was then lacking warehouses, and, consequently, depleted from Foreign Trade transactions, when it received the first imported cargo - DI nº 00001, dated 12/26/1967 for Ericsson do Brasil Comércio e Indústria S/A.
 
In 1977, in the City of São Paulo, the Jurubatuba warehouse was implemented, which warehouse holds now the headquarters.
 
São Sebastião CNAGA was the first bonded warehouse implemented in the Country to receive, in 1972, the license of the Ministry of Finance to operate the special system as bonded warehouse for import/export purposes. In 1981, São Sebastião and São Paulo were qualified by the Federal Revenue to operate as Public Bonded Warehouses - DAPs – for imports and exports, later on called “Dry Port”.  In 2015, was allowed to operate as  CLIA – Centro Logístico e Industrial Aduaneiro [Customs Logistic & Industrial Center].
 
CNAGA has fully computerized warehousing terminals, specialized in the warehousing of General Cargo and Bulk Solid Mineral Cargo.
